The Textile Celebration attracted more than 500 visitors to view our collection of Friendship Quilts, handcrafted clothing, and contemporary quilts.
Our first Textile Celebration was a great success. We featured vintage and contemporary quilts at the Port Stanley School, and spinning, weaving and knitting at the Museum. Local fiber artists demonstrated their skills at both locations. Our display of Friendship Quilts at the Port Stanley School was very popular, with more than 500 visitors attending the show.
