We are pleased as punch that the wildly talented and delightful Linda Ann Vorobik is teaching a Botanical Walk & Sketch class for the museum on Sunday, August 22. Deepen your experience of the visually stunning Fisherman Bay Spit Preserve with a master botanist, illustrator, and instructor. We’ll soak in some of Linda’s vast knowledge about plants and how to artfully represent them on paper. No drawing experience necessary! 10 a.m. to 2 or 3 p.m., depending on how the day goes. Plan to bring a lunch, water, sun protection, and whatever else you need to stay comfortable. Information on supplies will be given upon sign-up. $60/participant. Class is limited to 8 lucky folks, so don’t dawdle! Call or email the museum with questions or to reserve your spot.
