In 2007, a portion of Watmough Head became available for sale. In the face of proposed development, an unlikely coalition of conservation organizations, concerned neighbors, and plucky teenagers came together to raise the necessary funds to purchase the property.
Come and watch the story unfold through the eyes of one of those plucky teenagers, Rowan North, as he interviews and documents his community’s fight to save this beloved piece of public land.
$10 suggested admission, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Popcorn and refreshments available.
