Come celebrate the release of San Juan Islands historian Boyd C. Pratt’s newest book, Disputed Islands: Ordinary Life in Extraordinary Times; The San Juans, 1850-1874
Pratt has a loyal following, publishing three previous histories on the San Juan Islands:
– Lime: Quarrying and Limemaking in the San Juan Islands (2016)
– Island Farming: History and Landscape of Agriculture in the San Juan Islands (2019)
– Island Fishing: History and Seascape of Marine Harvesting in the San Juan Islands amid the Salish Sea (2021)
Boyd will give a talk, and books will be available for sale.
