We hope you will support our efforts to create programs that are valuable to our island community, that maintain the Museum and Port Stanley School, and preserve the memories that make Lopez Island unique. More than 70% of our operating funds come from museum members in the form of membership dues and program donations.

A group of men, women, and children stand on the porch of the Lopez Store and U.S. Post Office which belonged to C.T. Butler. The Butler family lived above the store. The dock is to the right. Victoria Hutchenson is on the right in a white dress. The man in the doorway is perhaps her brother Walter Hutchenson.
